Earlier this year I recorded an interview with TOC Thinker John Ricketts about his chapter in the TOC Handbook. It was an interesting 40 minutes. I hope you enjoy. |

A few weeks ago I had a great chat with long time TOCThinker Danny Walsh about his TOC Handbook article. Well worth a listen with a few new hints and nuggets. |

Rob Newbold is one of the clearest thinkers I know. He's written 2 great books - the first, a Critical Chain how-and-why-to helped change my life. Last night I chatted with him about his TOC Handbook chapter on making change stick, his life working with TOC (like me he used to be a software developer) and recent innovations in his companies Prochain software solution.

Earlier this week I spend a fascinating 75 minutes talking with James Cox and John Schleier, the co-editors of the newly published TOC handbook. It's a huge book (over 1,200 pages), not cheap in comparison to your average, run-of-the-mill books, but hugely valuable and imho worth its weight in gold. It includes in-depth chapters covering almost the entire TOC body of knowledge as well as knew information not previously in the public domain. The chapters are written by some of the best-known TOC Thinkers & doers. One of the best things about the book is that the individual chapters are being published on their own as ebooks. If you can't wait for the book to be delivered, if you prefer ebooks, or if you'd rather save a little money then listen to the interview to figure out which chapters you should buy. I've just spent the last 60 minutes talking with Eli Goldratt about his fantastic new book, "Isn't it Obvious". Now that I understand what the book was *really* about ... I'm off to read it again.

Hi everyone,
I've just completed a fascinating interview with two of the TOC Worlds most brilliant and innovative thinkers. Bill Dettmer and Eli Schragenheim.
Although the focus of the interview is on their new book "Supply Chain Management at Warp Speed" we also wander off into some other fascinating areas. They've got some great book recommendations between them, for example. Plus they talk about their next publishing efforts. Oh, and Bill mentions the key reason why you'd want to buy the book - it's the first public viewing of the TOC solution to ************** (you'll have to listen to find out). I can't tell you how pleasurable this session was for me - to chat with two of my heroes. You can order the book here: http://www.amazon.com/Supply-Chain-Management-Warp-Speed/dp/1420073354/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1239384783&sr=1-2

I interviewed - the extraordinary - Tony Rizzo last week about his decades work with Critical Chain and project management in product development organisations. Tony has been around from the early days. I've learned a lot from him over the years and you will too if you listen to this 45 minute podcast - the first of three.

[Note: this is not an Agile podcast]
Late last year I recorded a 25 minute interview with Alex Knight about TOC in healthcare. Alex knows his stuff having worked very closely with Eli Goldratt over the years. You can read his one-pager here, you can find his website here. I saw Alex present a session on TOC in healthcare about a year ago and it was one of the most entertaining and convincing presentations - on any subject - that I've ever seen. |
